Korean Short Ribs

 

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs bone-in short ribs

  • 11/2 White Onion, chopped

  • 8-10 cloves of garlic

  • 1/2" fresh ginger, diced

  • bunch scallions

  • 2 cup Soy Sauce

  • 1 cup water

  • 2 tbsp fish sauce

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tbsp mirin

  • 4 tbsp gochujang

  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar

Directions

  1. Mix ginger, garlic, soy sauce, water, fish sauce, sesame oil, mirin, gochujang, brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until well blended

  2. Place short ribs and onion in bowl and mix until well coated

  3. Cover bowl and place in refrigerator to marinate over-night, or at least 6 hours

  4. After marinating, pressure cook short ribs on high for 40 minutes. allow pressure to naturally release.

  5. Serve over rice
